Applications
Taidun Super Cone and Super Cell fender systems are engineered for high-tonnage VLCC and LNGC berthing. Equipped with low-friction, anti-sparking UHMW-PE frontal pads, they reduce static friction and eliminate ignition risks, improving safety for energy terminals. Fully validated to PIANC 2002 standards, the fenders maintain stable reaction forces even under maximum compression. Their high energy absorption efficiency effectively dissipates vessel impact energy, protecting quay structures from concrete fatigue, reducing hull deformation, and minimizing long-term structural risks.
Taidun’s full range of heavy-duty mooring bollards, anchor chains and offshore anchoring components adopt multi-layer heavy anti-corrosion treatment including hot-dip galvanizing + marine epoxy coating, delivering stable high holding power under continuous deep-sea dynamic loads. All structural designs comply with OCIMF and PIANC offshore mooring standards, with calculated ultimate tensile reserve to withstand extreme storm surges and long-term cyclic fatigue. The system maintains stable anchoring performance for floating energy facilities without deformation, crack or corrosion penetration.
Taidun custom low-temperature modified rubber compound delivers outstanding anti-crack toughness, maintaining complete elasticity and impact resistance down to -45°C. Specially formulated cryogenic additives eliminate cold brittleness, effectively preventing rubber fragmentation under ice collision and low-temperature dynamic berthing loads. Our Super Cone, Super Cell and pneumatic Yokohama fenders for Arctic projects retain consistent energy absorption and controlled reaction force in frigid waters, eliminating structural overload risks for polar terminals.
